The double update we had set for today for Cali’s kick ass website, GNDcali.com has been postponed until next week when it’ll be a TRIPLE update. That’s right, not one set, not two sets… THREE fresh sets NEXT week. We would have had a double in there today but we had a hard drive crash that took down the originals as well as some new videos Cali had done.
See, we wanted a networked hard drive so we bought a LinkSYS NAS200 system with a 500 gig Sata Western Digital drive. not even a week old and the damn thing is dead. The NAS200 sucked balls anyway, slow as hell. I wouldn’t suggest this piece of shit to my worst enemy.I am now looking at a few replacement options, but yes, Cali’s latest content died in that crash. It wasn’t the drive’s fault,it was the proprietary system that the NAS200 uses. It formats the drives in it’s own little language, it’s not Fat32, NTFS or even Apple’s extended journal formats, it’s this mumbo jumbo bullshit that if the NAS burps the wrong way, the content disappears. how the hell this made it past beta mode into the field is well beyond me. Ah well.. as they say, shit happens. Cali is here next week shooting with us so you’ll see some fresh content, perhaps a video as well.
In the mean time… we have THREE new solo sites gearing up for release in the next month or so. This will bring the total sites in the GND Network to 10. Ash, Davia and Merissa are shooting for their sites and trust me kids, you’re going to LOVE these new sites. I’ll hook you up with a few test shots next week.
